Bill Randall for Wake Forest Mayor
...on Race, Conservatism, and North Carolina
From the Desk of Bill Randall
Dear Voters in Wake Forest,
On this date, I will have officially announced my candidacy for Mayor of Wake Forest, NC. I know that the voters of Wake Forest share my concern for our community. That’s why my top three priorities for Wake Forest are:
In addition to the three above mentioned objectives, I will stand squarely with citizens who currently feel powerless to stop the steady, almost daily erosion of their liberties and freedoms. I passionately believe that the foundation of our nation, so carefully and wisely enshrined in our Constitution and The Bill of Rights, must be restored, preserved and protected. I am determined, with your help, to do exactly that.
As a retired U.S. Navy veteran, I can assure you that I will not be a party partisan politician who brokers secret deals behind smoke filled rooms. I also recognize that Wake Forest residents are not Republicans, Democrats or Independents: they are ALL OF THE ABOVE, and their common desire is that government remains: of the People, by the People and for the People.
As Mayor of Wake Forest, I will continue to exemplify integrity, purpose and dedication that you will be proud of. I will also be in tune with what your concerns are by engaging Wake Forest residents in regular Town Hall meetings, online webinars, a variety of social media, and making my way around the community (businesses, neighborhoods, churches, and social gathering places) each week to keep in touch with the pulse of Wake Forest.
As a businessman, I know from experience that the engine of prosperity is free enterprise, and that free enterprise flourishes and well paid jobs abound when the dead hand of a tax and spend government is not in the way, and when government is not running up debts that weaken our community and imperil our successors. I believe that if a government department or agency cannot demonstrate and deliver real value, it shouldn't be there.
If you think that all of the above makes me a different type of candidate, you would be correct. If you believe that I offer a safe and trusted pair of hands that you can, with confidence, elect as the next Mayor of Wake Forest, it's because I do. I ask for your prayers, your financial support (to get elected), and your vote in the upcoming election.
